Method
3 clear steps
- 1
Wash the celery. For mature celery, separate the leaves, split thick stalks into strips about 2–3 mm wide, and cut into 4 cm lengths. Tender young celery can be washed and cut directly.
- 2
For mature celery, bring water to a boil, blanch the stalks for about 20 seconds, then add the leaves for another 5 seconds. Drain, cool with clean water and drain again. The source allows washed tender young celery without blanching.
- 3
Mix the sesame oil, oyster sauce, light soy sauce and salt in a bowl. Add the drained celery and one jar of ready-to-eat mushroom condiment, toss evenly and serve. Follow the jar label for refrigerated storage after opening.
