Method
6 clear steps
- 1
Dice the onion, carrot and ham sausage or chicken breast.
- 2
Heat 10 ml oil in a pan and wait 10 seconds. Stir-fry the onion 1 minute until fragrant, then add the carrot, corn and peas and stir-fry 2 minutes.
- 3
Add the ham or chicken and stir-fry until it changes color (chicken must be cooked through, 74°C). Add the rice and break it up, add 20 ml ketchup, and stir-fry evenly. Take it out.
- 4
Beat the eggs with 10 ml milk. Heat 5 ml oil in the pan and pour in the egg, tilting the pan so it covers the bottom evenly.
- 5
Cook on low heat until the surface is set with no clear liquid egg left, then put the fried rice in the center and fold the omelet around it into an oval.
- 6
Push it onto a plate, tidy the shape, and squeeze a little ketchup on top. If wrapping is hard, lay the omelet over the rice instead.
